International Social Media Day 2025 –
ten nations visit STABILA headquarters

Country flags from the influencers' countries of origin hung up

"It's going to be international!" That was the theme at the end of September 2025 when we welcomed 16 of our influencers from all over the world to visit us in Annweiler, Germany. We've been working with our True Pro Ladies (our female influencers) and the STABILA Family (their male counterparts) for several years now. We were thrilled to be able to welcome a number of them to our headquarters. We previously hosted an International Social Media Day in Annweiler back in 2021 and it was time to repeat this successful event. Ten different nations were represented: the USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Poland, Greece, South Africa, Japan and New Zealand. The intercultural aspect of the event made it very special, and the fact that some participants travelled halfway round the world to visit STABILA clearly shows the strength of the relationship with our brand.

Arrival of several influencers and tour of Trifels Castle

Since a few of our guests were travelling from so far away, they arrived on Tuesday, with the rest joining us on Wednesday. Naturally enough, we were keen to show them our local area, so first we headed up to the beautiful Trifels Castle. After learning about some medieval history and seeing views of the Palatinate Forest, made atmospheric by the rain, it was time for the official programme to get underway with a delicious meal.

The next day was all about getting to know each other, as most of our guests were meeting for the first time. We spent the day together in the beautiful city of Heidelberg. The coach was outside the hotel and ready to leave at 8.30 am. Everyone was delighted by the attractive city, which we saw from every possible angle: first by boat with a traditional sightseeing cruise, then on foot, both on our own initiative and in the company of the Hangman's Daughter. This spine-chilling guided tour showed us a completely different side of Heidelberg's history. However, one of the highlights of our visit was Heidelberg Castle and the tour focusing on its architecture. All our influencers are dedicated professional tradespeople, and they were fascinated by the details of the castle's construction. After a hearty, traditional German dinner, we headed back to Annweiler in the evening full of new impressions.

The centrepiece of the event was STABILA Day, which took place on Friday at our factory in Annweiler. Everyone was excited and eagerly looking forward to the chance to take a look behind the scenes. At 9 am sharp our managing director, Ulrich Dähne, and our head of sales and marketing, Holger Binder, formally got the day underway. Then without further ado it was time for a tour of the factory. The influencers were split into two groups and each group was shown by one of our product managers how our products go from an unfinished profile to the famous yellow spirit level of exceptional quality. A definite highlight of the tour was the folding rule print shop, where a surprise awaited our visitors. Previously, we had asked them all to create their own design for a folding rule (an idea similar to this year's charity campaign, Rulers for Animals). Our colleagues then digitalised their designs, added a few finishing touches and, during the tour, printed them onto a folding rule. The influencers were able to package the finished results themselves and take them home.

"The amount of work and precision that goes into making each spirit level still blows my mind! There's a very good reason STABILA spirit levels are the best!"

After the tour there was of course still a busy day ahead, and after a bite to eat it was time to visit various stations on our campus. There was a product training session with our product managers, which gave our visitors a chance to ask questions as well as share some valuable suggestions with us. There was also an interview station and plenty of fun with some challenging and creative activities. Everyone could put their skills to the test in our small-scale Social Media Cup, tossing rings, measuring distances or taking on the R-Type Challenge. Naturally, the whole event was STABILA-themed, because the stakes that provided the target for the rings were spirit levels and the distance covered was verified with the new STABILA LD 530 BT laser distance measurer.

Throughout the day we noticed again and again how impressed our visitors were. "The amount of work and precision that goes into making each spirit level still blows my mind! There's a very good reason STABILA spirit levels are the best!" said @thegingermason Rachael Wragg from England, for example.

The day was rounded off with an award ceremony and plenty of photos in the photo booth, because memories simply have to be recorded. Finally, a sociable dinner on the Southern Wine Route meant plenty more laughter, conversation and swapping of contact details.

"Our trip to Germany was unforgettable! I can't express my gratitude not only to the STABILA family but also to the wonderful and talented tradespeople I was lucky enough to share the experience with. Travelling to Annweiler and coming back home has changed me. Thank you STABILA, you have permanently left your mark on this carpenter." (@roofslayer2681, Ryan Smith, USA)
