The new RLD 250 RG line receiver from STABILA increases the measuring range of both red and green pulse-modulated laser lines – up to 100 m. With its digital height difference indicator, acoustic and visual guidance and adjustable sensitivity, it makes measuring tasks quicker, reduces errors and allows accurate measurements to be taken by a single user, even in strong sunlight and over large distances.
The digital height difference indicator (from ± 30 mm) shows the exact distance from the reference height in millimetres or inches. The numerical display enables the user to adjust the height quickly and efficiently without gradually approaching the target line using visual or acoustic signals. The position of the receiver relative to the laser’s reference plane is indicated by arrow symbols on the front and rear displays. The user can activate the optional acoustic guidance, which uses volume-adjustable beeps (loud/100 dB, quiet/60 dB). When the desired position is reached, this is indicated by a bar in the middle or a continuous beep. The line can then be marked on the wall or workpiece using the notch integrated in the casing.
Three accuracy levels (± 1 mm, ± 2 mm or ± 5 mm) can be selected, depending on whether the user needs to work with precision or quickly over large sections, to ensure that the laser beam is still optimally received even over longer distances.
The RLD 250 RG line receiver is designed to withstand tough conditions on the construction site, from outdoor use to drywall construction. It’s protected against the ingress of dust and water jets (IP 66 rating) and against impact (thanks to the shock-absorbent STABILA soft grip casing). The easy-to-read, high-contrast LCD displays on the front and rear ensure work can be completed quickly and can be illuminated at the touch of a button. The receiver can be mounted using the integrated magnet system, for instance to drywall tracks or steel beams, or to a levelling rod using a holder. The unit is operated with two AA batteries and has an operating time of at least 24 hours. There is an indicator to show the battery status. The line receiver features two vials for horizontal and vertical alignment.
The RLD 250 RG receiver from STABILA is available complete with holder and 2 AA batteries.
