The new LAX 320 G cross line plus plumb point laser from STABILA is an especially compact and versatile tool for interior construction. Like its big brother, the LAX 500 G, it enables professionals to work rapidly and without marking errors in the horizontal and vertical planes, with its plumb-line dots, on razor-sharp, long green lines. The new laser is powered by three AA batteries. Thanks to the new generation of energy-saving laser diodes, the batteries have an operating time of up to 20 hours. To extend the batteries' service life, the lines can be switched on and off individually, depending on the application.
Compact and self-levelling
With its compact dimensions, the LAX 320 G can be easily transported to any location. The practical belt pouch means that it is always ready to hand. Thanks to the pendulum technology developed specifically for use on the construction site, the laser's quick self-levelling function is guaranteed, making it immediately ready for use. In addition to the horizontal and vertical lines, it generates plumb-line dots in an upward and downward direction. Switching between functions is quick and easy, as each button has just one function. Because the vertical line covers almost the entire room, you can perform plumb-line and levelling tasks simultaneously on floor, wall and ceiling.
The GREENBEAM technology from STABILA creates razor-sharp green lines that allow you to work with precision at distances of up to 30 m. For larger distances there is the REC 500 RG receiver, available as an optional accessory, which increases the range of the activatable pulse-modulated lines to up to 100 m.
Versatile use
A variety of cleverly designed features and accessories make the cross line plus plumb point laser exceptionally versatile. For example, the rotatable casing allows the vertical line to be positioned with full flexibility. For the marking of diagonals, in manual mode the laser can be positioned at any inclination by locking the pendulum and using the ST-K-S tripod (available as an option). The LAX 320 G can be reliably attached to metallic objects thanks to a strong rare-earth magnet system. A target plate with magnetic holder and cross-hair (included with the laser) allows the unit to be aligned vertically or horizontally with a target point. In a room with a suspended ceiling, for example, the target plate can easily be attached to metal rails.
With the attachable SLB 320 laser base, the laser can be mounted directly on U-profiles. A 1/4" thread also allows it to be mounted on a tripod or telescopic support as required. With the wall bracket the laser can also be positioned at any desired working height.
Optimum protection
With its compact dimensions, the battery-operated LAX 320 G is ideally suited to use on the construction site. In line with the IP 54 protection rating, it is protected against dust deposits on the inside and water spray from all directions. By rotating the casing into the park position, the laser optics are protected against dust and scratches. The laser is protected from damage and accidental adjustment during transport by means of the pendulum locking mechanism. The shock-absorbent soft grip casing also protects it from impact.
The LAX 320 G cross line plus plumb point laser from STABILA is available as a 5-part set with the SLB 320 laser base, a wall bracket, target plate and belt pouch, plus 3x AA batteries (1.5 V).
