STABILA sells its products exclusively through a network of dealers. These dealers are shown for selected countries in the Dealer Locator section in the top navigation bar.

The warranty we offer for our items can be found on our product pages or in the Downloads area. Here you can view and download the warranty conditions and warranty periods. The simplest way of making a warranty claim is to take it to your dealer with your proof of purchase. If this is not possible, you may send the item together with proof of purchase directly to STABILA.
If you lose them, you can buy replacement end caps. You can order them from your dealer.
STABILA spirit levels are highly temperature-stable. Since the size of the bubble changes with temperature, the bubble size and the ring spacing have been designed in such a way that the readability remains the same even at very high and very low temperatures. This guarantees accurate readings from -20°C to +50°C.
Depending on the type, STABILA spirit levels have either one or two measuring surfaces that you can use for measurements. The number of measuring surfaces on your spirit level is indicated in the technical data on the product pages for your model.
The accuracy of the spirit level is marked on the profile. A distinction is made between the accuracy in the normal position (normally 0.5 mm/m) and that in the reverse position (0.5 mm/m, 0.75 mm/m or 1.0 mm/m depending on version). You can view the accuracy values for all spirit level models on the product pages.
First, check whether the batteries are flat, and if so, replace them. For devices with rechargeable batteries, check whether the batteries have discharged, and recharge if necessary. Check also that the battery contacts are in good condition and not dirty. If the unit still does not work, please contact your dealer.
No. STABILA laser spectacles are not protective goggles; their only purpose is to improve the visibility of the laser line.
Yes. Most STABILA lasers feature either a 1/4” or a 5/8” thread. STABILA also offers adapters. Thus if a laser with a 1/4” thread is to be mounted on a construction tripod with a 5/8” thread, you require an AS adaptor screw. If a laser with a 5/8” thread is to be mounted on a photography tripod with a 1/4” thread, you require a GA thread adaptor.
Laser distance measurers
Bluetooth functions and digital target locators on laser distance measurers consume large amounts of energy. These should therefore only be enabled when you require them. This reduces the power consumption. Ensure that any replacement batteries you purchase are of good quality.
