For visitors to Miniatur Wunderland, it's obvious how much dedication and attention to detail has gone into the various areas of the attraction. Wherever you look, there are things to discover and scenarios to explore: from two lovers in a field of sunflowers in 'Central Germany' to Elvis Presley serenading a couple in front of the wedding chapel in 'America'.
It's little stories like these that delight visitors and bring Wunderland to life. On a trip to Hamburg, we learned how many dedicated people are involved in creating this experience. Together with Christian Schuh, a qualified carpenter who has been working at Wunderland as a tradesperson for more than 15 years, we took a look behind the scenes of this fascinating world. As well as admiring scenes already familiar to the public, such as 'Knuffingen Airport', we were also given a glimpse of the future.
